SecurLock has improved! With the release of SecurLock v1.3c, SecurLock
v1.3b users will find out that some features have been added in this new
version, while others have been enhanced.
Nowadays, computers have become
an integral part of most people's lives. Many of us rely on computers
to perform various tasks ranging from typing documents to accessing
the Internet and mail services, to using any application of interest.
The more data you place, the more applications and operating systems
you use, and the more security you will need. Therefore, it is imperative
to have a desktop security application.
SecurLock is the all in one solution
to secure your desktop applications by protecting and encrypting
your valuable data, managing your sign-on items, and shredding data
beyond recovery.
New Feature
SecurLock v1.3c now supports logon to the domain and to the
local computer using the same USB token.
Enhanced Features
Secure Login - for logging on to the domain and locally
using a powerful two-factor authentication process (USB token +
PIN code). Security is enhanced by the fact that the required data
is encrypted and saved on the USB token. Removing the USB token
locks the workstation.
Encryption - for ensuring confidentiality of private information
through encryption of files, folders, and email attachments using
either a powerful algorithm (Blowfish - 256 bit encryption) or a
faster one (RC4 - 128 bit encryption).
SecurSSO - for storing and managing items (username/password
combinations) in a flexible and organized list. When needed, items
are dragged and dropped from the SecurSSO window onto the respective
application or web site.
Data Shredder - for securely and permanently disposing confidential
files. SecurShredder fully wipes out your files by overwriting their
contents with meaningless data before actually deleting them. As
a result, shredded files cannot be recuperated by data recovery
tools and low-level disk utilities. SecurLock shredder can also
perform data cleanup on the system by securely deleting commonly
known temporary files making sure no cached copy of confidential
data is accessible.
Management Panel – for performing administrative tasks such
as backing up your SecurCard and recovering your SecurLock data.
